Privacy policy

Short version: no accounts, no selling of data, and download clicks are measured by our own service. We collect as little as possible.

Who we are

CryptApps (cryptapps.com) is an independent catalog of Windows software for cryptocurrency. For any privacy question, contact [email protected].

What we collect

  • Server and security logs. Like every website, our hosting provider processes technical data such as IP address, requested page, date and browser type to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. These logs are kept for a short period and are not used to build profiles.
  • Emails you send us. If you write to [email protected], we keep your message and email address to answer you and, for corrections, to record what was changed.
  • Newsletter. If you subscribe, we store your email address only to send the newsletter. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe.

What we don't do

  • No advertising networks on our pages.
  • No accounts or sign-ups required to use the site.
  • No selling, renting or sharing of personal data with advertisers.
  • We never ask for seed phrases, private keys, wallet addresses or exchange credentials.

Downloads and analytics

Program pages load a script from cryptapps.cfd, our download and analytics service. When you click a Download button, it records the click together with the program name and its cover image, and takes you to the program's download page on cryptapps.cfd, which shows pricing details and available options. That service may use cookies or similar technologies for analytics. If the script is blocked, the button links straight to the developer's official site.

Stored in your browser

The site saves two preferences in your browser's local storage: light or dark theme, and grid or list view. They never leave your device, and you can clear them at any time in your browser settings.

Links to other websites

Program pages link to developers' official websites and repositories. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which we don't control.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you can ask us to access, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold about you. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
